ID3v2edit is a universal ID3v2 editor, it can put a ID3v2 tag on every file type. The current version is 2.0. Some of its features are:
- supports all text frames
- batch processing
- adding of common frames to all files in a batch process
- drag & drop files
- automatic saving
About common frames:
When opening multiple files it is possible to let ID3v2edit add common frames (you might think of Album name, Artist, etc.) to all files. You can set these common frames by selecting Set common frames, when adding frames you will see that they end up in the Common frames list. When there are common frames in the common frames list, every file that is opened will get these frames copied to it automatically. Note that a file in a batch process is only opened when you passed through it by selecting the << or >> buttons.
